I have phpdox in a headless no x11 server.

I tried to install the lastest version of openoffice, but it requires libXInerama and I cannot install it due repository access and dependencies...

I see that libreoffice is lauched like in a "server" way, can I use another server and delegate the generation of pdf to another machine via network? Or libreoffice/openoffice must be locally intsalled?

Hello,

Yes, you can use other server to install the conversion plugin. You'd need to create a PHP script that calls this server to send the documents to be transformed and a way to return the PDF output.

Regards.

me termino siendo más sencillo actualizar el server para el spoerte del libreoffice 5.3, y quede gratamente impresionado por que el conviertidor a pdf funciono perfectamente

It was easier to update the server to support the libreoffice.5.3, and I was pleasently impressed with the converter to pdf, because it worked perfectly

Epic win.
