Hi there,

I need some help with importing styles from an external Word document. This external document has multiple styles that are attached to several levels in a custom numbered list (using "Link level to style" setting in the customised numbered list window in Word). These styles are used for generating new documents with phpdocx. The produced document indeed contains the content with the right numbered attached to the respective styles. However, only the first level in the numbered list remains attached to a style, but the other are not linked to the styles anymore. So when I re-apply such styles to any section in the document, the numbering is not included.

So somehow, the numered list level is applied to the respective styles when generating the document, but the document itself lost the links between the numbered list levels and the styles.

What could cause this?

Hello,

Maybe there's some duplicated style name or numbering ID. To know where the issue comes from, please send to contact[at]phpdocx.com the most simple script that illustrates your issue and a DOCX sample used to import styles. We need to run this script so please use phpdocx standalone without external resources such as databases, web services, external code...

Regards.
