Removewordcontent is showing message in phpdocx 13.5

Hi,

My current version is PHPdocX 13.5 and uses removeWordContent() to remove the table if the Placeholder value is empty. But I am getting below error -

"This method is not available for your license."

My Question -

1. Which version supports removeWordContent() method?

2. Sample code to use above method.

Hello,

The removeWordContent is not available in Basic licenses:

https://www.phpdocx.com/api-documentation/docx-path/remove-elements-in-docx

You need to upgrade to Advanced, Premium or Bureau license to use this method.

On Features page you can read the features available in each license. On each API page is also detailed if a method is available or not in a license.

Ok. And how to upgrade the version with the same basic license? And will it support PHP 8#

Hello,

You can read the available upgrades on MY PHPDOCX page after login. If you want to use the removeWordContent method you need to upgrade to Advanced, Premium or Bureau license. The Basic license was removed last year.

phpdocx 14.5 supports all PHP versions from PHP 5.6 to PHP 8.3 as detailed on the FAQs (https://www.phpdocx.com/faqs)
