Misspelled template variables don't get replaced

I thought I saw a fix for this on here but I can't find it.

If I have template variables in Word with the red underline showing that it is misspelled, they won't get replaced by phpdocx. Does anyone know the fix for this without having to ignore the words in Word or change a setting in Word. I am looking for a phpdocx fix,
