What word processors can be used to create templates?

Every phpdocx version includes new features and improvements. Previously unsupported features may have been added to newer releases, or past issues may have been corrected.

We encourage you to download the current phpdocx version and check the Documentation available.

I notice that when I try to use a .docx template which was created by TextEdit on OSX, PhpDocX throws errors when trying to use it.

This makes me wonder, what word processors are good for creating templates compatible with PhpDocX? I know MS Word is, obviously, but what else?

Hello,

We recommend to use MS Office to create templates but you can use OpenOffice too. We're going to try TextEdit to check how it creates DOCX files.
