Hello, To replace a placeholder image with a new image in phpdocx 3 you need to insert the placeholder in the 'Alt Text' associated with the image. Please check the method documentation on: http://old.phpdocx.com/api-documentation/templates/replaces-Word-template-image-by-external-image-with-PHP Although you can use forever your license, I strongly recommend you to upgrade to phpdocx 4 that includes a lot of new features.
