We’re very proud to announce that we have just launched the 1.0 version of LEGALDocX, a software solution for generating legal documents online in a variety of formats (Word, PDF, Open Office, RTF). As you may have guessed, it’s based on PHPDocX technology.

How does it work?
LEGALDocX, like PHPDocX, works on any web environment and does not need the direct use of Microsoft proprietary technologies so it can be integrated in any IT platform.
It’s use does not require any technical knowledge beyond the use of reasonably simple web forms.
First of all you’ll have to set up the generator form:

Create a template: upload a docx file in which the template will be based on.
Add variables: text (name, address), dates, select menus. At the form this will be fillable fields the user can edit. And at the resulting document, all variables will be replaced by the corresponding values introduced at the form.
You can also add a tip for each variable if desired, preview the resulting form and download a test document.

Now you have the generator form setted up and you just have to copy-paste the code into your web app. You may customize the look&feel of the web form: width/height, font, color, etc.
