The PHPDocX team continues its quest to offer the most flexible and reliable tool for the generation of dynamical Word documents on a web server regardless of the chosen OS (LINUX , Windows or Mac).

We are happy to announce the release of the 2.7 version of PHPDocX that offers quite a few enhancements, among them:


New chart types:

Percent stacked col and bar charts.
Fully customizable double pie charts (where the second chart may be a pie or a stacked bar chart).


Vast improvements in the HTML parser:

Floating tables.
Advanced table formatting.
Support for practically all CSS styles and HTML attributes that may have a Word equivalent.


Addition of text or image watermarks as part of the DocXUtilities subpackage.
Completely new “Crypto class” (only CORPORATE) that allows to password protect Word documents.
New setBackgroundColor method that allows to change the background color of the document: very useful if you want to include a season color to your document (excuse the bad joke :-)).
Automatic cleaning of temporary files





We have also included several minor improvements and bug fixes.

All owners of PRO licenses are offered a free update. Please, log in the website and download the latest version from the “MyPHPDocX” section as usual. Please, do not forget to backup your current installation!!
