Every phpdocx version includes new features and improvements. Previously unsupported features may have been added to newer releases, or past issues may have been corrected.

What do you mean by 'printing'? When you transform the document to PDF?

The current version of OpenOffice doesn't support DOCX image backgrounds. So if you want to transform it to PDF you'll need to use a Windows server with Office and the method transformDocxUsingMSWord.
