Every phpdocx version includes new features and improvements. Previously unsupported features may have been added to newer releases, or past issues may have been corrected.
I added " 'preserve-entities' => 1" to the config array used by PHP Tidy in parserhtml.cls.php on line 418 and now it works. I am seeing all Hebrew and Greek words rendered correctly, also smart quotes.
