What version and license of phpdocx are you using?

Premium licenses include in-memory DOCX (https://www.phpdocx.com/documentation/cookbook/in-memory-docx-documents) and stream (https://www.phpdocx.com/api-documentation/performance/zip-stream-docx-with-PHP) modes. Using these methods, instead of saving the document to the filesystem you can generate a stream or a in-memory DOCX that you can save or stream.
