Every phpdocx version includes new features and improvements. Previously unsupported features may have been added to newer releases, or past issues may have been corrected.

It looks like your tags are being escaped before replacing them. To check if the library works fine please run a simple script that adds the HTML with embedHtml, but writing the HTML in the script, not getting it from the WYSIWYG.
