    If you create document then app.xml is "default"
    Ex:
    <?xml version="1.0" encoding="UTF-8" standalone="yes" ?>
    - <Properties xmlns="http://schemas.openxmlformats.org/officeDocument/2006/extended-properties" xmlns:vt="http://schemas.openxmlformats.org/officeDocument/2006/docPropsVTypes">
    <Template>Normal.dotm</Template>
    <TotalTime>0</TotalTime>
    <Pages>1</Pages>
    <Words>1</Words>
    <Characters>1</Characters>
    <Application>Microsoft Office Word</Application>
    <DocSecurity>4</DocSecurity>
    <Lines>1</Lines>
    <Paragraphs>1</Paragraphs>
    <ScaleCrop>false</ScaleCrop>
    <Company>Company</Company>
    <LinksUpToDate>false</LinksUpToDate>
    <CharactersWithSpaces>1</CharactersWithSpaces>
    <SharedDoc>false</SharedDoc>
    <HyperlinksChanged>false</HyperlinksChanged>
    <AppVersion>12.0000</AppVersion>
    </Properties>

    But it is not true! you may have more than 1 page, 1 Word, etc
